Min-Y-Ffordd is a renovated cottage, situated in Dinas Cross, just a short distance from beaches, walks, pubs, restaurants and local shops. Much thought has been put into ensuring it is a warm and welcoming space to enjoy after a day spent on the beach, walking the coast path or exploring local shops.
This is the perfect place for families and friends to have a wonderful break away from home. It’s just three miles from Fishguard and also Newport, both of which have masses of excellent food producers, restaurants and local shops. Two well behaved dogs are welcome by prior agreement.

The Space
Min-Y-Fford has had a full renovation, so has underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, the open plan sitting room includes an original fireplace with woodburner and comfy sofas. The dining room has a big enough table for all the guests to enjoy their meals, plus a woodburner and a sofa bed to sleep 2 extra guests. The well equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer; a breakfast table looks out through double doors to the small yard. There is a toilet and cloakroom.
Upstairs, there are two spacious kingsize bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room. The twin bedroom has distant views over Fishguard bay, there is also a good sized bathroom with separate shower and freestanding bath.
Guest Access
Guests will be able to access the cottage with a key code.
Parking is approximately 15 metres away, but it is possible to pull up outside of the house to unpack.
Regular buses travel from Fishguard, where there is a train station and ferry terminal to Island, and Cardigan
Other things to note
By booking, guests agree to abide by the house rules, these are:
- Absolutely no smoking within the house.
- Maximum of 2 dogs, not allowed on furniture or upstairs. £10 per dog per stay.
- Pembrokeshire is very strict on sorting rubbish and recycling. A £75 fee will be applied if rubbish isn’t sorted properly.
- The house is in a residential area, with some elderly neighbours and younger families, so please be very respectful with noise.
- The house must be left in a clean manner, and all used beds stripped.
